Meet the Author: Sarah Weeks

Meet the author of Save Me a Seat (co-written by Gita Varadarajan) and Pie, two Sunshine State Young Readers Award favorites. Sarah Weeks is the author of 55 books for children and teens, including So B. It, which was chosen as an ALA Best Book for Young Adults. So B. It has been made into a major motion picture, receiving first place in the San Diego Film Festival. Weeks is the author of dozens of picture books, including the recent Glamourpuss, and chapter books including the Oggie Cooder series, the Guy series and the Boyd series. She lives in Nyack, New York, and teaches at The New School. Registration recommended. 


Writing Workshop with Sarah Weeks

Calling aspiring writers, ages 9–14! Sarah Weeks presents a writing workshop for kids and teens with interactive writing exercises and writing tips. Weeks is the author of Save Me a Seat, Pie and So B. It; she teaches writing at The New School in New York.
